Our Financial Counsellors
The Financial Counselling Network is a partnership of community service organisations and local government who provide expert financial counselling services across the Perth metropolitan area. All member organisations are not-for-profit and our financial counsellors do not benefit from the support provided to you.
AnglicareWA provides 70 services from 50 locations around the state, from Albany in the south to Broome in the north. It remains one of Western Australia’s most diverse community service organisations, offering services across six major portfolios: relationships, finances, housing, youth, community and training.
AnglicareWA supports people, families and their communities cope with the challenges of life by building their resilience and capacity. Their philosophy is to support people through each stage of life’s journey. Services are available to all members of the community and their work is achieved in a spirit of reconciliation between Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal Western Australians.

Relief in times of crisis and care when it’s needed most
We are a member of the Australian Council for International Development and abide by its Code of Conduct for Non-Government Organisations, which sets minimum standards of governance, management and accountability. Adherence to the Code is monitored by an independent Code of Conduct committee.
Red Cross is registered with the independent national regulator of charities, the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission, under ABN 50 169 561 394.

The Blue Sky Community Group works in partnership with their local, culturally diverse, community to deliver a range of services in and around Lockridge.
Blue Sky Community Group aims to empower residents with the education, support, and motivation necessary to improve the quality of their lives. Being part of the community is important. It assists them to recognise the issues effecting locals in real time, which means their responses are virtually immediate.

The City of Cockburn provides services to its growing residential population of over 106,000 people in the following areas: community safety; library services; environmental health; support services to families, children, youth, seniors, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and people with disabilities; childcare services; waste collection and recycling; planning and building; recreation and cultural services; roads and footpath; as well as a number of capital works projects. The City’s financial counselling service has been operating successfully for over 20 years, and works within an integrated and holistic model of service provision, which aims to meet current and emerging community needs.
The City of Cockburn is a large Local Government Authority, operating for 35 years, and has provided state and commonwealth funded human services since 1993 so has a long history of high quality service provision.

FinUCAre is a Public Benevolent Institution (PBI), with Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status, registered with the Australian Charities for Not for Profit Commission (ACNC). Gosnells Community Legal Centre Inc. promote basic human rights, including housing, income, equality, freedom and dignity, by a variety of support services to resolve legal, economic or social issues. Gosnells Community Legal Centre is one of over 200 Community Legal Centres in Australia that form the National Association of Community Legal Centres. Midland Information Debt and Legal Advocacy Service Inc (Midlas) is a not-for-profit community agency based in Midland that provides financial counselling, tenancy advocacy, disability advocacy and legal service to people throughout the north east region of Perth. Supporting people in their community for over three decades, Midlas has a long-standing strong commitment to improving lives.
Their mission is to partner with individuals and organisations to promote independence, strength and well being in their community through support, advocacy, and education.

UnitingCare West delivers over 30 programs in a diverse range of interrelated community services, focusing on those people most in need in the areas of independent living and accommodation, mental health and disability, community and family. UnitingCare West is a community services agency of the Uniting Church that touches the lives of thousands of families and individuals each year. The organisation is founded on Christian principles and values with the particular Christian ethos of the Uniting Church in Australia. UnitingCare West is part of the UnitingCare national network of more than 400 Uniting Church agencies providing community services to over 1.8 million Australians each year.
